SLDCADA is a web-based timekeeping system that allows for centralized or distributed input, and provides the capability to track civilian, military and contractor hours against job order numbers and type hour codes for financial and pay purposes.
What is KG military furlough?
KG-Code used for any non-paid absence from work which is covered by a military order. This code IAW USERRA law, allows for nonpaid time with no adverse effect.
Is leave paid in the military?
As part of the military pay and benefits package, military service members earn 30 days of paid leave per year. Service members are expected to use leave for any workday that they will not be available for work, as required by their command.
How do I accept a leave in Sldcada?
They use the SLDCADA Leave Request Screen to request the leave. Once a week, SLDCADA will send an email to the requestor’s supervisor listing all the pending Leave Requests. The supervisor approves or denies the request. Once approved or denied, an immediate email is generated by SLDCADA and sent back to the requestor.
Can I work while on military leave?
There is no requirement to pay exempt employees when they are absent for a full workweek and perform no work during the week. An employer is prohibited from requiring employees to use their leave benefits for a military absence; however, the employer must allow the use of paid leave if an employee requests it.
What is the USERRA law?
THE UNIFORMED SERVICES EMPLOYMENT. AND REEMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ACT. USERRA protects the job rights of individuals who voluntarily or involuntarily leave employment positions to undertake. military service or certain types of service in the National Disaster Medical System.
What happens if you get sick in the military?
Military members who are unwell will present themselves to medical personnel, who will determine whether they should be kept from work. If the service member is directed to remain away from work, they will be classified as “sick in quarters” for a designated period of time, generally not to exceed 72 hours.
