Can you rekey an Emtek lock?

Unlike their more bulky commercial cousins, the Emtek electronic locks are smaller and look at home on the wooden door typical of a residential property. As a backup to technology, the EMtouch still has a traditional keyed cylinder which any locksmith can replace or rekey if needed.

Are Emtek knobs interchangeable?

Yes. Our door knobs are sold with knobs for both sides of the door, latch mechanism, strike plate and mounting screws. Emtek latches are not adjustable so you must select either 2 3/8″ or 2 3/4″ backsets.
