Is Night Vision good ATN?
Great scope. ATN really made a ton of improvements in this gen2 scope. It is easy to use and very affordable. One scope can now be used night or day.
Can you use ATN scopes during the day?

Can you use ATN Thermal scopes during the day?
Yes, thermal can be used 24/7. Do the scopes have a built-in laser range finder? No, they do not include a built-in laser rangefinder. ATN offers an Auxiliary Ballistic Laser range finder (ABL) that adapts to the scope and connects via Bluetooth.

It’s made in the U.S.A. We just recently received the above photo from ATN that comes straight from their US factory, and even from this single image you can tell a lot of time, effort and love goes into developing these thermal rifle scopes.
Can you add night vision to a scope?
These optical devices are built specifically to co-sight with another optical device like a daytime riflescope, spotting scope, binocular, etc. By attaching a night vision clip-on scope, you are turning your day time optics device into a night vision capable optic.
Is ATN xsights worth it?
ATN has been very responsive in replacing the 2 problem Xsights I’ve had… I got it as an experiment, so my lack of disappoint in it may not be shared by someone who is depending on it. I don’t want to influence anyone to get one, just don’t want to scare anyone away needlessly. IF you make it to the field with it, I think it will be fine.
Why do ATN X-Sight scopes fail?
The only defense for some of the failure modes described for (and experienced with) this scope is that it is pushing the techno envelope, has a LOT of features (perhaps too many) and is experiencing “growing pains” while trying to keep within a certain price domain. To purchase one of the ATN X-sight scopes is a roll of the dice.

Why does the ATN 5-20 freeze up?
ATN replaced my X-sight 5-18 with the X-sight II 5-20. I have had no freezes or reticle issues, so far. Theories I’ve seen bandied about infer that ATN undersized their internal memory for all the wonderful functions they attempted to include. That is the suggested reason for the dreaded “freeze”.
