Does Brilliant have Z Wave?
Brilliant products all connect via WiFi and do not have Z-Wave or Zigbee compatibility directly built-in. However, if you would like to connect to Z-Wave or Zigbee products, we do support hubs from SmartThings so you can control them from a Brilliant.
What is the Brilliant system?
Brilliant Smart Home System Brilliant is an in-wall lighting and control system that makes it easy for homeowners, families, guests to control lighting, doorbells, locks, cameras, music, climate, intercom, scenes, and more.
Does Brilliant work without Wi-Fi?
Yes, Brilliant will work without Wi-Fi or an Internet connection. You will need Wi-Fi to use the video intercom, or to connect to other smart home devices in the house. But if Wi-Fi isn’t present, Brilliants will use Bluetooth to connect with each other.
Can Brilliant Control a fan?
Brilliant supports ceiling fans when they are configured as on/off devices, and are less than 300W. We do not support dimming or speed with ceiling fans.
Is Brilliant a hub?
Brilliant integrates a smart hub into its design, and all of that fits into a traditional wall switch box. It’s an easy way to make your home smart and integrate other devices into a single controller.

Does Brilliant work with Arlo?
Answer: Brilliant is not currently compatible with Arlo; however, we are always adding to our list of integrations.
Does Brilliant work with vivint?
Brilliant does not currently integrate with Vivint Home Security.
Does Brilliant work with Feit?
Answer: Brilliant does not currently integrate with Fiet Smart Lightbulbs.

As of this review, Brilliant can work with Ring, Sonos, Philips Hue, Google Assistant, Alexa, SmartThings, Ecobee and Honeywell Lyric smart-home devices.
