Before that I had to underclock and I still reached boiling point temperatures. my GTX 660 runs at maybe 55C under load in Bio-Shock Infinite, with a custom fan profile where it’s using like 65%. 80C is very hot. You also may have venting issues in the case if your not able to get the air out.
