Who are Dee Ukes?

Welcome to the website for Dee Ukes who started as a Dundee u3a Ukulele Group. Our class began in September 2014 and takes place on a weekly basis @ the Finmill Centre, Fintry, Dundee. Over the last few years we have been on an amazing journey together, which has taken us to so many fabulous places to entertain.

Why buy a uke for Christmas?

Remember a uke is not just for Christmas, or a birthday or anniversary – it’s for life. Happy Ukes band members raise funds for our chosen charities by giving concerts at a variety of venues and events during the year.

Can you help raise funds for charities with your ukulele?

And as you and your uke enjoy yourselves you can also give others a boost by helping raise funds for charities. In the last three years alone Happy Ukes – the longest running ukulele club in the Dundee area – has raised well over £10, 000 for various charities, including Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia (TCCL) and Maggie’s Dundee.
