What is a secondary school report in the Common Application?
The Secondary School Report (SSR) is a packet of information that provides a plethora of information to admissions officers. The parts of the SSR include the following: Guidance Counselor Letter of recommendation. Class Rank or Percentile and the Number of Students that share that Rank or Percentile.
What is a secondary score report?
It is a recommendation form that your high school counselor fills out for you. This report helps QuestBridge and our college partners evaluate you relative to other students in your school. With this form, your counselor should include a School Profile, if available, and any additional information on your high school.
Can I see my school report Common App?
Schools do not have any access to your information until you add them to your My Colleges list. At that point, they can see only the information you have filled out for their school. They cannot see other schools to which you are applying.
What is the final report on Common App?
The Final Report is used to submit final grades for a student and should not be submitted until all admission decisions have been received.
Can my guidance counselor see my Common App?
You can allow your counselor to see a PDF preview of your in-progress application. Please note that a Counselor cannot edit or change your application in any way; they may only see the answers you have provided.
Should I self report grades on Common App?
Instead, you must self-report your courses, grades, and test scores as part of your freshman admission application. Any transcripts submitted will not be used as part of our application review process, nor count as part of a complete application.
Can you submit the Common App to different schools at different times?
Students sometimes ask us whether or not they can submit different versions of the Common Application essay to different schools. As we’ve said before, the Common App is changeable. So yes, you can absolutely change the essay, submit it to a school, change it, and submit it again.
Can counselors submit recommendations after deadline Common App?
The recs themselves can be submitted after the application deadline. The same rule also applies for the counselor rec; if it’s something that someone else is writing for you, it doesn’t have to be in by the deadline.
Can counselors submit recommendations after deadline?
Bear in mind that most schools will accept the “external” pieces of your application (college counselor and teacher recommendations, art submissions, interview reports) after the deadline as long as you have created an application by the deadline.
