Can you get plastic surgery if your on your period?
Many are concerned that having their period at the same time as their surgery may cause some issues. Women who are on their period do not have any increased risk of complications, so it is perfectly safe to undergo surgery while on your period.
Does your period affect surgery?
Don’t worry – It’s okay if you have your period the day of your surgery or while you are in the hospital! This will not cause your surgery to be cancelled. Most likely you won’t be allowed to wear a tampon while in surgery. Instead, you will be given a pad to wear.
Can I have a tummy tuck if im on my period?
You may need to postpone your surgery until you feel better. If you have your menstrual cycle, please wear a feminine napkin. Do not wear a tampon. Shave the entire top part of the pubic area one week before surgery.
Can I be on my period during breast surgery?

When can I sit after BBL? The majority of patients are advised to refrain from sitting, lying, or otherwise putting direct pressure on their backside for a minimum of 2 – 4 weeks following BBL surgery.
How long is healing for BBL?
BBL recovery takes approximately six weeks. For the first two weeks, you should avoid sitting or lying directly on your backside. You can sleep on your side or stomach, and sitting will require an inflatable doughnut-shaped seat or a pillow.
