Can I camp at Pilanesberg?
Pilanesberg National Park offers two resorts that cater to camping and caravanning: Manyane and Bakgatla. Bakgatla Resort is situated at the foot of Garamoga Hill. Pilanesberg Tented Safari Camp is situated in the Manyane Resort within close proximity of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park that host the Big 5.

Reopening from 1 December 2021. The Bakgatla Resort is situated on the edge of the Pilanesberg National Park. Is Pilanesberg open during Level 3?
Under Level 3 restrictions, only day visitors are allowed. The Pilanesberg National Park & Wildlife Trust announced on Facebook that only two gates will be opening: Bakubung and Manyane. The gates will open at 6:30 and close at 18:00. No braaing at any point in the park.
