The dip dying technique is a tricky one. The shoe is made in neutral leather, immersed completely in dye and them tumbled in large wooded drums to give a truly unique, distressed effect. We’re obsessed with design and detailing and are always on the look out for techniques.

Can you dye leather sneakers?

We do not recommend dyeing leather shoes. The only exception would be Uggs® Sheepskin boots. If the shoes you are dyeing are white or off white, then you should be able to achieve true color. If the shoes have an existing color, then you can overdye them with a darker color.
