The public ballot for tickets

To commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme, the UK Government is hosting an event at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s Thiepval Memorial to the Missing in France. Given the level of interest in attending, this will be a ticketed event.

The ballot for tickets is now closed, and no further applications will be accepted online or by post. All those who entered the ballot have now been informed of the outcome, and have been asked to submit some further information.

Tickets are free, and will be distributed in pairs to successful applicants in 2016. Facilities will be in place for attendees with disabilities.
